74-year-old female with chronic liver disease, diabetes mellitus and hypothyroidism. There was a focal liver lesion that was a 4.5 cm hypervascular nodule located in a posterior subcapsular area in segment VII.
Right hepatic artery off of the proper hepatic. The tumor is located in a central location of the liver without contacting any large vessels but in a subcapsular location.
After expanding the tip of the Surefire Infusion System ST, 3 cc of lipiodol plus 1 vial of DC BeadM1™ (LC BeadM1™ USA) , 75-150µ, with 75 mg of adriamycin were administered. During procedure, 100% of the dose was delivered and there was no reflux.

Surefire Infusion System ST (red arrow) was used with a 5 FR 90 cm Envoy® and a .014 Transcend® guidewire into the artery feeding the tumor.
Full dose of DC BeadM1 (LC BeadM1 -USA) was selectively infused into the tumor without any reflux.
